Sleepy Bear’s Predicament Is Solved!

Hi Book Buddies,

My reading and writing teacher, Kathleen, got a copy of THE TALKING EGGS from the library!

Sleepy Bear Reads THE TALKING EGGS

I sat on the couch with my hot cocoa with EXTRA goo- goobs of whippy cream and I read the whole book!

My book buddies sure know how to choose a good book!

Rose and her mother are very mean. I’m lucky. I live with all nice people like Blanche in the book.

I felt sorry for Blanche. She had to do all the hard work. But she has a big heart because she never laughed at people and animals who were less fortunate than her. That’s my new word for the day – fortunate.  Can you tell me what that means?

There were a lot of tricky words in this book. Like brayed and contrary. Maybe my book buddies can help me.

Now I’m sorry I read THE TALKING EGGS so fast because I have to find another book to read! If you have a recommendation, let me know.

Your Book Buddy,

Sleepy Bear
