I really like this story! This is me reading and eating a sticky bun pastry. YUM! YUM!I want to share some of my sticky-notes. Hey, that's a coincidence - sticky bun and sticky notes! Anyway, on page 2 I learned a new word - shinny. It means to climb quickly by clinging with the arms and legs. I'm going to try to use that word in a sentence today.
My second sticky note is on page 3. When the doctor took Stuart's temperature it was 98.6. Did you know that is the same temperature for people, too? I thought that was interesting. I think Stuart is more like a human than people think he is.
On page 6 I wrote a sticky-note to remind me to ask Kathleen what violet water is. I will ask her today. And finally, on page 10 I wrote down another word, louse. It means an insect.
Well, I hope you are enjoying STUART LITTLE as much as I am. I hope you write to me soon about your favorite parts of the story or maybe some more new words.
